Unlike all of the other Buzzworks venues which are fully accessible, the Treehouse
is a listed building with floor level differences which cannot be addressed due to
the historical construction of the building and the central stairwell.
This brings with it some accessibility challenges.
Access at ground level is available to the rear of the property and rear terrace
area (The Outhouse), however further access from this area towards the restaurant
and toilet facilities (including accessible toilet) entails 2 steps (bottom step 190mm
high, top step 170mm high). Access from the terrace level towards the T-Bar and
bar toilet facilities entails 3 steps all at 130mm height.
Access via the T-Bar front door entails 2 steps both at 180mm high and then on
the same level (including toilet facilities) until you come to the stairs down to the
terrace level as noted above. Access via the restaurant front door entails 1 step at
170mm high and then on the same level (including toilet facilities) until you
come to the stairs down to the terrace level as noted above.
There are public parking bays that wrap around the property with accessible
parking bays in close proximity.
A portable 6 foot suitcase ramp is available for customers use and can be
requested in advance by contacting Lee Little or one of his team on
01292 288 500 (Option 2) or firstname.lastname@example.org.
Assistance Dogs are most welcome, please provide details of the dogs
registration as an assistance dog if requested.
The T-Bar has lighting effects in place during some musical performances
but strobe lighting is not in use.
If you have any accessibility questions please contact one of the team in
advance on 01292 288 500 (Option 2) or email@example.com.
